Question: Wen Illuvium? Answer: Hold. The. Line.

Wen. 3 letters that haunt most builders. 3 letters that aren’t even grammatically correct, but in this space they mean war. Every project deals with it. It’s how you respond that separates the real projects from the fake. Kieran and Aaron’s response to the most recent Wen FUD had me blown away. I may have to create Hold The Line T-shirts after this one. Let’s jump in!

It started with a long winded frustration post from Jay Quantum:

Jay called a lot of people out who are working extremely hard to push this game out to the masses. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is Illuvium. With that said, I get the frustration. I found Illuvium a year ago and I’ve seen the same hype and delay cycle. However, we as a community need to think big picture. Ultimately no one will remember the delays once the game is out. We are seeing that to an extent already for people participating in the Private Beta. Enough about that though, let’s take a look at the responses from both Kieran and Aaron.

Aaron responded almost immediately, which given his schedule is downright impressive and shows the passion he has for the project. Here is what he had to say:

Short. Sweet. To the point. That is Aaron in a nutshell. His level of efficiency is on full display here. The man worked until 6am because it was fun! We love to hear that from the team. Imagine putting in those kind of hours and then finishing up and immediately jumping in discord for the same project? These brothers are insane.

What really got me, however, was Kieran’s response. Hype city.

Okay that was the right hook from Kieran now let’s hit you with the left:

And there’s the knockout. Mic drop. The words speak for themselves and honestly I couldn’t be more bullish. Print the shirts!
