Today we got some welcomed news from Illuvium co-founder Kieran Warwick. Illuvium’s Private Beta 2 is very close! Kieran sent a tweet relaying the information, take a look:
That bar is awfully green and awfully close to the end! Look at that progress from the team!! A little more digging in discord and I was able to get the specifics. Ben from Illuvium broke it down for us. There were 1281 total items to work through. 81 remain. 31 are being worked on currently. That’s 93% complete!
We are so close
We’re so so close to Private Beta 2 and it couldn’t come at a better time. The ILV token just crossed below $70 and sILV2 is hovering around $30. It’s been a long few months of waiting since the Land Sale, but we are all about to make it. You can only play Private Beta 1 so many times. We even saw TFT tournaments break out in the discord this morning. Needless to say, the Illuvium diehards are ready for Private Beta 2.
The team has worked so hard to get us to this point and the constant updates give us a pretty good idea of what’s to come. PB2 will have the updated autobattler with over 90 new Illuvials. This will bring the total amount to around 125 and give us a ton of new strategies to work through. It is basically an entirely new game and that doesn’t even get into the new augments, moves, etc.
Gone will be the days of constant 30 wave leaderboard finishes. PB2 will also give us our first crack at the Overworld. Sanctum Mesa here we come! This version should include both Sanctum Mesa and Crimson Waste. For the first time, we will get a real feel for the gameplay. Illuvium is coming sooner that we think. The hype will build. Word travels fast. Private Beta 2 is coming!
