The next installment of Illuvium gameplay is almost here. Illuvium Zero Private Alpha will be available for download exclusively to landowners on January 6th at 5:30am UTC. The official announcement of the city builder game can be found in this Tweet from Illuvium: 

Similarly to the Overworld launch, we will see a four hour deployment window for the Illuvium Zero launch. Once completed, we will be off to the races. 

Illuvium: Zero

Illuvium Zero is a mobile based city builder game that gives gamers the ability to own land, mine for precious resources and build out an efficient metropolis in one of Illuvium’s seven regions. This game is at the heart of Illuvium’s economics as players are given the opportunity to mine fuel that will be used directly in the Illuvium Overworld. The interoperability between game modes is made possible using blockchain technology. This is next level innovation in the gaming space and a first of its kind implementation. It’s quite literally a window into the future of gaming as we know it.

How to Participate

As we enter the next phase of Illuvium with the Illuvium Zero launch, we are heading further into the blockchain gaming side of the business. As such, participating in the early stages of Illuvium Zero will require owning a plot of land. You can purchase land directly from the Illuvium website here or for an in depth view of plots available you can visit Token Trove here. Illuvium also released this Illuvium Land explainer video: 

Exclusive Discord Channel

Owning Illuvium Land will give you exclusive access to the Land Owner channel in discord as well. This channel was recently set up using the Collab Land feature. To gain access, simply follow the steps in the #verify-access channel of the Illuvium discord. It takes all of 5 minutes and will require linking your land holding wallet to Collab Land, but not actually signing anything. Make sure to pay close attention to the steps to avoid potential scams.
