Earlier today we had the privilege of watching another Illuvium leak video. In this case, it was Grant’s livestream of the Abyssal Basin as he was working on the Overworld. This level of transparency is once again incredible and welcomed. It’s what separates Illuvium from the pack. Abyssal Basin is a wooded region of lush landscape. This dense forest seemingly comes alive around every turn. 

At times it can almost feel like you’re engulfed in the foliage. 

This is one of the three regions that will be playable when the first Overworld gameplay is released and it appears ready for its big debut. 

All sorts of interesting plant life will be found in this region and it’s almost a certainty that some will even try to kill you! 

The Abyssal Basin looks peaceful, but make no mistake this forest is out to get you. 

I can’t wait to explore this region of Illuvium. The unique aspects of all 7 regions of the Overworld have really been shining through lately and this is another example of that. As we get impatient waiting for the launch, it’s good to take a step back and enjoy the work that’s been done. Thanks for taking a minute to enjoy this Illuvium leak and the twists and turns of the Abyssal Basin.
